| Horizontal-shaped flags do not generally use a banner. The flagpole which bears them can be equipped with a roller bearings rotating masthead and a vandal proof lockable door (patented) , with the halyard passing inside the flagpole. The flag can thus be unfurled in the wind without getting twisted round the flagpole and stands no risk of being stolen. The standard model with fixed masthead and cleat for the outer halyard is of course nevertheless available. |
